Life is too short to waste time feeling scared in the saddle!

Life really is too short to waste time feeling scared in the saddle!

Next time you are with your horse, take notice of WHEN you know its time to start feeling nervous....when it's time to press play on that old tune... 🎶

For some riders it can be as soon as they think about riding, or it starts when they put their riding boots on. For others its when the instructor tells them to canter or maybe its as you put your foot in the stirrup - but for the majority of riders the negative feeling of nerves and fear PRECEDES anything negative happening - its just a habit of thought on repeat.

You can start to take power back over your own body and mind when you start to notice when you are giving yourself the cues to be afraid.... get really curious about why this is the time to turn this track on?

How about playing with your mind and seeing if you can convince it to put a different playlist on for today!

So as you go to hop on, why don't you press play in your mind on the Beetles 'Yellow Submarine' or something else super fun!

Your horse might really love it! 🐎😂

I'd love to know how you go!

Happy riding & singing ;),
